This week, as part of her 'Sideways' series Sue Jones takes a look at the dangers of hair dye both to personal health and to the environment. Roughly 60% of British women and 10% of men dye their hair but few know the warning signs to look for potentially harmful ingredients.

US Army veteran George Butler was placed in Germany communicating with the RAF Menwith Hill spy base as part of his job in military security. When he returned to Austin, Texas he decided to combine his work managing property, or real estate, with a radio show, The Secret Truth, which he has been doing with another Vet, Charlotte Littlefield for about a decade. Since George is based in Texas we find out something of the Texans' character and leading role in the movement for the right to bear arms, despite the cost as revealed in the high rate of murder/homicide in the USA. As the new US president Donald Trump is inaugurated this week we ask George for his assessment of prospects for the United States, and its empire abroad, under a new 'emperor'.

James files is the Mafia hitman who fired the fatal shot from the 'Grassy Knoll' that killed US president John F. Kennedy. In this excerpt from a longer interview with Dutch researcher Wim Dankbaar, Files fully explains the formerly mysterious murder of a Dallas policeman killed just after Kennedy, officer Tippett.
James Files is the JFK assassin Chicago mob hitman from the Grassy Knoll and here he talks about what happened after he blew the back of US President John F. Kennedy's head off with his Remington Fireball rifle. He was in Dallas with mobsters Johnny Roselli and Charlie Nicoletti but staying at the Lamplighter Motel in nearby Mesquite. The operation to assassinate president Kennedy, who was about to close the CIA down, was overseen by desk officer David Atlee Phillips of 'The Agency'. James Files knows he'll never be prosecuted for the murder because he was effectively hired by Vice-President Lyndon Johnson, the CIA and the FBI. He's had three attempts on his life so has decided to speak out about his role in the 1963 JFK assassination as a kind of 'life insurance' while in prison.
