Victoire Ingabire returned to Rwanda to fight for democracy and equality for all people. She has been imprisoned by the police state system under Kagameâs one man rule. She was deprived of her freedom and her followers intimidated. Sheâs been in prison since 2010. Ann Garrison has been a leading voice in calling for Ingabireâs release and has written about the case in the context of Rwandaâs destructive role in the African Great Lakes Region.
