The day was chosen by the Ireland Palestine Solidarity campaign because it coincided with Ireland’s National Day of Remembrance for the Great Famine. The Electronic Intifada’s executive director, Ali Abunimah, travels to Dublin to join our contributor Abubaker Abed who arrived in Ireland just over a month ago after being evacuated from Gaza. And we speak with London-based barrister Franck Magennis about repression against anti-genocide activists in Europe.
