On November 2 one of the significant marks of the Gay Games Opening Ceremony was the united enrance into Aussie Stadium of the Indian and Pakistani participants. Their appearance caused a huge roar.

Uma Kali-Shakti, from "Gaywaves"/2SER FM (Sydney Australia - www.2ser.com) later met up with Imran Nafees Siddiqui, one of the Pakistani participants, to learn more about gay issues in Pakistan as well as about the decision by Indian and Pakistanis to walk together.
